What's the Catch?
There isn't one on the core plugin. Auto Form Builder does not require a subscription, does not limit how many forms you build or submissions you collect, and does not lock conditional logic, multi-step flows, surveys or integrations behind a paid tier.
The only paid element is optional AI credits — used only when you enable AI features like building a form from a description, conversational forms, submission summaries or the admin AI assistant. AI is off by default. The plugin makes no external calls until you turn something on.

The only optional cost is AI credits for optional AI features, which are off by default.
- Do I need an account?
- No account is required for the core plugin. Install from WordPress.org, activate and build. AI features are optional and require a separate AIDA account only if you choose to enable them.
- Will features move behind a paywall later?
- Our model is built so the core stays free: income comes only from optional AI credits, not from locking features that are free today. We have no plans to put multi-step forms, conditional logic, surveys or integrations behind a subscription.
- What are AI credits?
